Even as the first ever prequel film in Kannada, Bhairathi Ranagal featuring Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar in the titular role continues its successful theatrical run, the action drama is all set to premiere on OTT this Christmas.

Bhairathi Ranagal on Prime Video from December 25
The makers of Bhairathi Ranagal announced that their latest superhit venture is all set to hit the OTT platform, Prime Video from December 25.
Touted as Kannada’s first ever prequel, Bhairathi Ranagal is a prequel to 2017 Kannada film, Mufti. While Narthan, who directed Mufti returns to direct the prequel in which Shivanna reprises the role of Bhairathi Ranagal.
The film also features Bollywood actor Rahul Bose, Rukmini Vasanth, Avinash, Devaraj, Chaya Singh, among others

Produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar, wife of Dr Shivarajkumar, the film marks the second home production after Vedha under their home banner—Geetha Pictures.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Bhairathi Ranagal has so far collected Rs. 24.14 crores worldwide. The film’s box office collection received a significant boost with its release in Telugu and Tamil languages on November 29.
After delivering back-to-back success with Vedha and Bhairathi Ranagal, Geetha Pictures has announced its next project, A for Anand to be directed by Srini of Ghost fame.
Recently, fourth venture to be directed by Sandeep Sunkad featuring Dheeren R Rajkumar in the lead was also announced by Geetha Pictures.
